Bug: Yavin 4 achievement - Seeking Out Prey

This achievement cannot be completed as killing the Massassi Blood Warrior does not get credited towards the achievement.

2/8/2015 : killing elite blood warrior still not giving achievement

Killing Massassi Blood Warrior still does not give credit.

 

EDIT = Weird Workaround that actually works. Hope it helps tracking the bug.

 

Step-1 = Unsummon your companion

Step-2 = Do NOT have any Yavin dailies up

Step-3 = Do not be in a group

Step-4 = Walk up to the Massassi Blood Warrior and let HIM aggro you. Do not attack first, use an ability...nothing.

Step-5 = It has to hit you with its first blow (not dodged etc...)

Step-6 = If that first blow hits you, proceed to tear Massassi Blood Warrior apart for the sheer frustration of doing this.

 

Sounded really bizarre to me, but, after a few tries (my JK has high shielding)... I got the achievement. I hope this helps players and devs alike.

 

Disclaimer = some of the steps may not be needed but I can personally confirm = being on a daily, it hitting a companion first, me attacking, or me dodging the first blow didn't grant the achievement...

This is not a bug, keep in mind that there are two Massassi Blood Warriors on Yavin 4. They both patrol around the area and have the same name and appearance, but only one counts for the achievement. So if the one you killed didn't count, look for the other one.
