Hi guys. I am pretty new to this game. I started to play about 2 weeks ago, and i have a few questions.

I allready got full obaron set with implants and all accessories, but i feel so weak as a commando in pvp...

One guy from my guild says that i need to put augments on my gear, coz real power comes from it.

Is it true ? If so, which augments i need to install in my gear ?

And one more question about stats.

Priority - Aim>endurance>power>surge>crit ?

Just for a little background, Commando does have its PvP issues. Of the three ranged DPS classes, it's the easiest to shut down. If we're left to freecast, we can do serious damage, but if we're focused we're ineffective due to our inability to really escape or force a hard-switch. The Commando really shines as part of a coordinated group that can peel for it and give it some room to work, which makes solo queuing frequently a pain.

That's pretty much how we've been in PvP since launch. Well actually, since 1.2, when they rebalanced Gunnery so we couldn't just GravRoundSpam2Victory.

Stat Priority: Aim > Power > Surge > Alacrity > Accuracy > Crit (for PvP)

Augments: Reflex Augment (dont augment till 3.0 though since top tier augments will not stay the same)

Build: Gunnery: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#8000cZrfcordRkfrsZf.3 Assault Specialist: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#8000cZrcZfhrrzRrffzz.3

Eh, its more like, augment for aim, then its Power > Aim > Surge > Alacrity > Accuracy > Crit

Though there are magic numbers for crit rating

Come 3.0, the 9% mainstat buff is removed (dropping you from 1.14 aim per aim in your gear to 1.05 aim per aim in your gear) and people are thinking augmenting for power would end up being better as well.

Thanks for feedback guys. Few more questions.

I saw that pvp vendors have mods for 400 WZcoms - what are they for ?

If i'll remove any mod from any of obaron set piece, and replace it with mod that pvp vendor offers, will i lose set bonus ?

sorry for my english btw =)

The set bonus is tied to armorings so it should be fine.

You will want the Advanced Agile Mod 29X/30X for your gear, as that gives you the most bang for your buck.

Dont put it in gear without expertise though, as it prevents bolster and reduces your expertise value

The set bonus is tied to the armoring. Enhancement and Mods are normally replaced on 4-5 pieces since Bioware likes to make us grind twice ;)

You can also just stockpile comms and wait for 3.0 in 2 weeks since everything will change anyway ;) Just remember to convert your comms into ranked comms 'till you hit the ranked cap then stockpile your comms and convert everything you have over this cap into creds.

Trying to min max gear you'll throw away in two weeks is kinda pointless.
