Appearance&Hairstyles Ultimate Wishlist

Greetings fellow Heroes of the Republic! (and Empire's Lords of Destruction too, of course). I am aware of the fact that there are already tons of threads similar to this one. Still, my aim is to create a thread where we all can post our suggestions for new faces/hairstyles and other player apperance customizations.

 

I have a feeling this part of the fun was a bit neglected over the past 2 years (please mind it's a personal opinion) and I would like to make a desperate plea for some new content in this area.

 

To me, the faces and looks we can choose while creating our character are very simple and plain, compered to others that are already in game. I am one of those playeres (and there are others like me for sure) that tends to develop an emotional link between my toons and myself. It's very important to me that my avatar looks, well - cool.

 

When I see some of the NPC that are in the game, the details of their apparance, basicly I feel like a "country cousin". Many of them have facial lines (!), wrinkles, cool facial hairs - which are all unavailable for the player.

 

I would like to post a list of looks that I find interesting and wish I could use for my avatars. I really hope that in time they will become available for players. It's not something that needs to be done from scratch - it's already in game.

DEAR DEVS - I hope You will read this thread and and allow us to use at least some of the customizations I suggested in my post. Many players, including my humble self, will be more than grateful.

This kind of short hair. The current we have is too curly for white characters and doesn't really fit other than black ones. There is a "hair stubble" complexion but it's not thick enough.

 

Also facial hair is extremely lacking. We can only get over the top, long and thick stuff isntead of a Revan-like beard and some light stubble from complexions.

 

I also TOTALLY want Sith eyes as a customization.

 

And some long hair for male without broken hair line. They still need to fix the "qui-gon" hair.

Said it before and I'll say it again; agree on this. The game needs these kinds of customizations. The current "Dark 5" sith faces are ridiculously underwhelming compared to the looks of Malgus and Zash, and even just Calphayus' old man face.

There's been whispers that they're adding the new human hairstyles that came out for cyborg, mirialan, miraluka and chiss, but that's hardly enough. There's a ton of customization they could still add and I hope they will, since it's been far too long since we've had some proper customization additions.

I'm all for the addition of new hairstyles and customization options! A few of my wishes:

 

1. A unisex long ponytail style with a bit of a fringe to frame the face. And a normal hairline.

 

2. I don't know if this guy is actually in-game or not, but I want his complexion: Male Twi'lek with eyebrows.

 

3. Yellow-blond hair. Not the best pic but you can see the difference compared to my character (w/sandy blond hair #2). Note that it is much more obviously yellowish in the sun.

 

4. More subtle and tasteful looking cosmetic options. For example: Megan Fox's natural makeup or the smokey eyes/nude lips look.

 

And some long hair for male without broken hair line. They still need to fix the "qui-gon" hair.

This is my top wish. That particular style would look so amazing on my character -- if only it didn't have a weird receding hairline. Sorry, Lord Elrond, you look great and all, but you can only pull off that hair because you're a beautifully dressed elf.

In regards to that receding long styles for males, I have yet to actually see another player using it. The Tharan Cedrax companion customization available from the nar shaadda casino event used it with the mutton chop goatee, he ended up looking like old school James Hetfield (Metallica) and Lemmy (Motorhead) had a baby, was hilarious. I support this completely. I really connect with my characters in-game when I get to be creative and the more options I have the better! I like making them "unique", or just something I find aesthetically pleasing.

You put some work into this, haha! And yeah, I one hundred percent agree. It's already in-game, just make it available for the players. I'll be bumping this thread until an employee sees this.
