Hateforged
How about in game theory craft rendering values on your abilities, kinda like Dr. Damage did in WoW. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a333/gijoey14/WoWScrnShot_042208_104257.jpg Not too bad. While I find the whole "e-peen" argument against damage meters laughable and slightly pathetic, this is a good way to sate both sides of this issue. While I think not having a metric to measure performance is a significant flaw in end game design, a Dr. Dmg type modification from BioWare could solve it. noggerr
Hey ********, you need dps meter to evaluate your performance, or you mean we are gonna take out our calculators and calculate all abilities and GCDs to get out how good dps we can get with what rotations? NO we need to se everyones DPS so we can maxiimize performance, and to see what classes are better or worse.. Half the enjoyment is to perform good in a raid and get aknowledged by it, if you are afraid of a parser you are probably a lazy one not caring so much about overall performance, only intimidated to be the wost player.
