DomiSotto
I would like to promote Aric on the male trooper and Elara - on the female one to get the extra APs on a non-romancee, but I was wondering if doing so will actually kill my romance? Thank you!
Danylia
I promoted Elara on my female Trooper and I could never romance Aric. While I'm not 100% sure if the (non)promotion makes the romance unavailable, I'd definitely not go that way - both Aric and Elara are quite easy to affection level via gifts and ingame decisions. DomiSotto
Okay, thank you. I will promote the romancee just in case then Sure, they are relatively easy, but I am trying to be frugal, lol. Many teams to level, many gifts to give, everyone loves weapons, and Elara only gives 50% AP per gift to a female
Derzelaz
I promoted Aric, but I was still able to romance Elara. It all depends on what choices you make, when you have private talks with them.
periphelion
What I heard is that if you wish to romance Aric, you have to promote him, but not the other way round. I can't verify that completely as on both my male vanguard and female commander I promoted Aric,
DomiSotto
Okay, sounds like Aric like Corso has one of those hidden break romance conditions. Seeing he won't romance the toon for a while, I am not risking it
DogEyedBoy
I completed the romance with Aric today as a female character that promoted Elara.

DomiSotto
Oh, good to know, ty. I went with Elara on a male, just to be on the safe side. I think I am too chicken to risk losing th dialogue. So, erm, with Jaxo's invite, does that break Lara's romance or is it Okay if she is not in the party? Does result in Dark Side points. Dorne will freak the heck out though if you later on save Jaxo's life. Even if she's not in the party when it happens, she will react regarding that once you get back to the ship.
DomiSotto
Wow, so backwards... Well, I hope the boy gets an option to tell Lara that now she made her feelings on the subject crystal-clear, it will greatly relieve him not to have to make those tough choices, and just abandon her to her fate.
