What's the current best DPS tree, and does it stack up fairly well against other classes? I'm not asking if it's top-tier, but is it a "don't bother" situation? Assault Specialist is their best DPS tree, and as of right now.. they are really good in PvP. Their burst is great, decent survivability and nice sustain too. As I said to another guy, sorry, but assault is pretty much #1 right now In other words, NO ONE will discriminate against you for playing a VG, in fact people will discriminate against some people because they dont play their VG Anyway, whats changed? Damage has moved away from the HS -> IP -> IP -> HiB Spam of pre 2.0 into a more complicated rotation that mixes in Stockstrike, Incendiary Round and Assault Plastique in order to reach its ludicrous damage numbers.
