MelodyofLegends
Basically a theme we purchase a that once enabled changes the animation of our attacks based around that aspect. For example one easy theme could be say a butterfly which if active makes force lightning summon a flurry of rainbow force butterflies! This is just the tip of the potential and Obviously this would be most easily implemented on the sorcerer and sage classes but with some thought it could benefit all. Thoughts? Thoughts? waste of effort IMO, it sounds nice in general, until you realize that things like animations, graphics, art etc. are not easily modifiable. For every voice over there is an actor somewhere recording those lines. For every armor there is an artist drawing those sets. For every animation there is a graphical animator mapping out the movement and animations to be fluid and realistic. Saying we want to change force lightning into...butterflies (really? since that makes so much sense, what next summon my force unicorn?) someone has to draw all those butterflies animate them and then make sure they make sense when used on others. Things like different color maybe, suddenly expecting different saber attacks or butterfly attacks (makes less sense each time I type it) is a bit much. Oh on top of that: For every ability, there is also a foley artist that has to come up with an appropriate sound design.
EranofArcadia
Implausible as it may be to implement, it WOULD be cool . . .
