Kantaso
I have seen mentioned in different places you need armor 150, 160, 180, what is that and where can I find what my armor value is?
Darkelefantos
It's the rating of the armoring, its quality so to speak. It's shown to you if you hover your cursor over the piece of armor. For customisable armor (orange/purple), it shows the rating of each part individually (like (180)). Items that can't be customised just have an Item Rating at the top of their description. TheRandomno
The ones you used as example are all end game gear ratings.
Kantaso
Oh great, thanks for the info, so dont need to worry until I am getting closer to the 50 level mark?
Luneward
You don't worry about it at all until you hit 55. The highest drops you'll get on level 50 planets (Corellia, Illum) are 104-112ish. The best mods you can 'easily' purchase at 50 are 140. Craftable mods/armor at 53 are at best 156. At level 55: Gear from basic commendations is 162 Gear from elite commendations is 168 Gear from Ultimate commendations is
LordBarok
You can also get 146 rating gear with Classic Commendations at level 50, or as drops from the level 50 Hard Mode Flashpoints.
