Tulak Hord chest piece : Front flaps issue

Because there are some issues in the game that occur with some cards and not with others. I have this set and have never seen it do any of what is presented in your pics. It was a simple question, and every piece of information is helpful, but I will refrain from inquiring in your future threads.

Your saying a graphics card somehow makes the model inside a game function differently (essentially turning off or on different pieces of it) than someone with a differ graphics card? Honestly that makes NO sense. Models inside of a game function the exact same way no matter what card you use. The card only effects how well it looks, not the actual structure of a model. That is only effected by the game itself and wont change based on different cards. Simply not possible what your saying. The model can't be changed by a graphics card.

You're right, look at all those issues I'm having with the same chest as you:

I have never seen the issue that you posted, either in cut scenes or in game. There are other chests that apparently do this for other people, but I and many others have never had that problem or more people would respond that they had. We're playing the same game, so clearly there's some factor that's different between the two. Anyway, thanks for all the helpful responses, I'm sure they'll aid in getting this cleared up for you quickly. The last thing that I will note is that looking at your renders it looks like you are running at somewhat lower graphics settings, likely meaning that you have an older card. I really don't care much at his point whether or not it gets resolved because it doesn't affect me and your attitude has done enough to completely put me off of replying again and contributing any further. If you understood how graphics cards work and modeling in a video game (which I have done) you would know that what you said isn't even possible to be the issue.

Your using a male toon. The people complaining are using female toons. I put the same set on my male toon and it doesn't do it. So, it's pretty simple to see what the problem is. It's female toons.

Here is proof : Male toon.

Female toon :

Both are on the same PC, same card, same game. Hope that clears it up.

Your not the one who should be responding, Bioware is. It's been over 2 months and not a word.

PS - I have updated my original post to reflect Female toon's being the only ones effected by this.

Not to be rude to OP, but it could very well be a certain type/types of graphics cards. It is glitched for me on my screen, and others on my screen who wear the set. But, according to my friend, he doesn't see the bug on my female toon.

I use AMD graphics.

It does glitch on males. At least, on Body Type 3.

Edit: It seems to be tied to graphics setting. Those pictures were taken on medium settings, on Ultra I have no issues.

I tested this out and then fiddled around, and it's true! It's tied to graphics settings. I turned to ultra [which I currently can't handle] and the glitch was gone. Then I fiddled around with the settings till the bug reappeared; It's tied to the Character Level of Detail setting. The bug appears when that is on low.

My graphics settings did not change when logging between toon's. One toon has the glitch, another doesn't. The male doesn't have the glitch, the female does. No difference in game settings OR graphics card.

However, I just logged in and put my Character Detail to High and the flap isn't glitching anymore on any toon Luckily I can set my game to high on this setting and not lose much. I just had it set lower for better Frame Rate in 16 man raids.

So this glitch is tied to an in game setting, not graphics card.

I have updated my OP to reflect this discovery.

The bottom line here is that Bioware over 2 months later has not replied or given any incite into this.

OP, you're welcome for the mention of graphics settings possibly causing your issue despite the fact that you were completely hostile to me for asking you a simple question. In the future perhaps you'll respond to what's asked instead of giving paragraphs-long explanations of why you're right and someone else is wrong.

Glad that was able to be narrowed down so that others having problems have a remedy if their cards can handle it.

You said

some issues in the game that occur with some cards and not with others.
. That's not graphics settings. Graphics card has nothing to do with this. Mentioning graphics card had nothing to do with this discovery either. Read the post.

No one was being hostile to you, I certain wasn't. Nothing I said was hostile. I simply explained how graphics card has nothing to do what you were saying, because it is not possible. Now you just want to come back and try and assert yourself as the problem solver, when you had nothing to do with it. Not interested in that game. Ciao.

Guess I never said that. Enjoy that crow, you are a total jacka55. If you'd read what was posted instead of going off about how much you know you probably could have figured things out, but luckily other posters gave something else a try after what was mentioned above, and lo and behold, the issue was sorted out.

You were still talking about video card sir. "likely meaning that you have an older card". Not the in-game settings.

You accused me of being hostile, when nothing I said was hostile.

Then you said you were done replying.

Then you came back and tried to take credit for everything, which you had nothing to do with.

I see a pattern here = Troll

You weren't the "solution". It was someone else who posted about the in-game setting to lead to that being the key. Not you. Now, kindly move along. I won't reply to you again. Enough.
