Gwangsan_Empire
So the title pretty much says it all. So i know my main stat priority is aim and then 110% accuracy and 20% crit rating, right? should i dump the rest the rest to power? i hear not to do alacrity because it's mainly for healers and not to do surge rating as well. I also heard that i can't trust noxxic. Edited April 7, 2014 by Gwangsan_Empire
Fidelicatessen
Personally, I'd go power once you've got that Accuracy and crit rating in place. I think a little Surge never hurts, personally. And you're right--Noxxic is toxic. Don't use that site for advice.
Eternalnight
Well you want 100% ranged accuracy and 110% tech accuracy which means 3% from skill tree and 1% from companion and 6% from gear (about 435 accuracy rating). All the rest surge. You want maybe 2 or 3 mods with critical rating and all the rest power. 20% crit chance without the 5% smuggler buff is about what they get in dread forged gear with 0 critical rating with just the crit gained from Aim + base crit chance + what you get from skill tree. In any case you should not look at your total crit chance percentage when trying to decide how much crit to take.Read this about crithttp://dulfy.net/2014/02/10/swtor-mechanics-basics-understanding-critical-chance/Alsohttp://dulfy.net/2014/01/02/swtor-gunnery-and-assault-specialist-commando-dps-class-guide/#
