Vicid Posted December 23, 2011 Share Posted December 23, 2011 (edited) I was equipping a companion that uses both blaster rifles and sniper rifles. It seemed like the sniper rifle did more damage than the blaster rifle with the same mods. (Looking at the companion's min and max damage the sniper rifle had an edge. it isn't like most MMO's were the delay in Auto attack makes a difference... it just looked like the damage was higher. Is this the case for blaster pistols and blaster rifles? I'm just curious how it works after all the Vanguard uses a blaster rifle while the Power tech uses a blaster pistol but they're supposed to be mirrored - as in basically the same class but if blaster rifles have an edge in damage...
