Cor_Vandar Posted January 30, 2014 Share Posted January 30, 2014 I've run in big guilds, small guilds, in-between guilds, casual guilds, hardcore guilds. I've been top DPS in several of them but in other MMO's. And I'm so over it all it's not funny. The constant search for better gear is a staple of MMO's, I get it, but when it comes at the expense of everyone's enjoyment of what is meant to be a game, then I don't see the point of playing it at all. A certain level of competence may be required in some situations but berating people for not devoting themselves slavishly to perfection just depresses me. I can generally carry my own and generally do enough to be considered a top contributor in whatever situation I'm in, but I don't use my position or knowledge of a GAME to belittle others who don't. So with that mini-rant over, are there any social, fun, casual guilds on Begeren? I just wanna have fun and joke around and socialise and do some runs, maybe end up eventually raiding or whatever, but without all the hassle, stress and BS of so-called casual guilds who act like hardcore fanatics. I'm immature but in a benevolent way. I like to joke around and chat a lot and sometimes can rub people the wrong way without meaning to. It's my troll nature. But I'm also always there if you need a hand and put the needs of the guild before my own. I sometimes brag about my leet skillz but even then I'm usually kidding, since I completely suck at PVP. I'd prefer a mid-size guild. It's not that I dislike small guilds, it's just that they're a dime a dozen and usually haven't stood the test of time. Time disintegrates guilds that are full of people who have conflicting goals and expectations and I'd prefer a guild that has gone through all that nonsense and survived and prospered despite people's silliness. They are an Australian guild that moved over from Gav Daragon. They seem to be RP and PvE focused, although some of their members are very good PvPers. REIGN is a great social Guild that does PvP and PvE, with constant events that keep the members occupied and happy. Yes, REIGN may have it's issues, as does every other *successful* Guild on the server. However it's not that bad. REIGN is one of the most active Guilds on the server that's always looking for new members, I'd say it's in the top 3 most active. Consider joining REIGN if you want to have a good time, I do warn you though. The members spend more time *********** up with stupid tricks while Raiding than getting **** done. Recently, they've been shamelessly stomping Imp PUGs, then switching impside as soon as there's any competition. Fix'd. As you can see, they are an exemplary guild who everyone should desire to join. We even have a separate guild where we store them for our pleasure. Not even joking. Keep an eye out for the 'Ryloth Syndicate' in sub30 PvP.
