tgokovenant
I quit playing around the time 2.1 came out. Not because I didn't like the game anymore, but due to financial reasons, I had to drop my sub. I forgot how much I loved this game. Also, really weird, the game performs better on high for me than it used to on medium. I haven't changed my hardware. Did they make some improvements? Anyways. Last night I went ahead and rolled a new warrior. Needless to say, it's glorious. So I'm back, brethren. Nice to see you all again. I was on the ebon hawk before but since my american friends don't play anymore, I'm now on the English euro PvE server. Forget the name. Here's to murdering republic scum once again
Callaron
Welcome back! And yes, they have made quite a few improvements over time - and I imagine they'll keep tuning the game for better performance.

Andryah
Welcome back. Quite a few old timers returning it seems. And I just want to say... I appreciate your comments about client performance. It helps remind people that they do continue to improve the performance of the game over time, contrary to the still persistent rants about the Hero engine and the game overall by some. It's easier to see when you have not been playing the game for some time, and come back to a fresh update and see a difference from what you remember. tgokovenant
Thanks again guys. Yeah the hero engine is by no means perfect. Anti aliasing is a bit off so I just turned it off and am dealing with the jaggies. No big deal though. But there are obvious improvements. I bought my friend a 60 day time card for his bday, causing him to make a glorious return also. The UI kept spazzing out on him in windows 8.1 so he went back to win7 lol. Anyways, the fun of this game far outshadows the minor setbacks for me. I'm levelling a few toons simultaneously because I love support roles and can never decide between tanking and healing
OwenBrooks
Welcome back Have seen a few with Radeon have issues with AA, best is to force via the CCC , Mithersonian's post explains how to do it well http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=667864&page=2 ( assuming you have Radeon that is ) if NVidia you could try http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=591313&page=11 Edited January 11, 2014 by OwenBrooks
CheesecakeCzar
I recently came back, too. I didn't leave for financial reasons, but because my friends let and my guild fell apart. I am enjoying it so far. There was a lot I did not complete prior to me leaving. It was only a short while, though.

Works great. In my case, my card is too old to use the nvidia software and the AA used in game seems heavier than in other games. So I just gotta keep it off. My card is the nVidia GT220. It's old but gets the job done. Runs BioShock infinite on medium with 2xAA
