And yes, I was mostly concerned about pvp. Rage equal to Veng in single target? No that should definitely not happen. They are actually pretty close as it is now and Rage has the awesome AoE potential and doesn't have procs/rng beyond lucky crits affecting your performance. Niddhog Posted December 27, 2013 Share Posted December 27, 2013 Veng -should- do more damage than Rage, but usually doesn't. Veng is so damned RNG heavy that it's dps #s are all over the place. Many high end jugg dps simply go rage because of this. Rage is the dps you can COUNT ON, not some proc based hell with too many abilities. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Methoxa Posted December 28, 2013 Share Posted December 28, 2013 (edited) If you look on parser leaderboards youll notice that vengeance is the best theoretical dps spec. But its big downside is the procbased plastyle, furthermore if you have to move during ravage channeling you loose much dps. When you have more than 1 mob during a bossfight rage can be better, if you have a lot of movement rage might be better, but on a training dummy vengeance should be better. This is for pve ofc.
