Love the game- FPS issues

Hello, not sure if this is the proper place for this post but wasn't really sure where else to post, currently I run the game on very low settings at around 30 fps until I ( A. Get into combat with more than 3 mobs

( B. PvP

and ( C. Go to the Imperial Fleet

 

I love this game, I really do because I love Star Wars, and I would love to run Star Wars in HD like mode

 

My current computer specs are AMD Phenom II 820 Quad-core processor

6 GB DDR3

1 TB HD

Windows 7 and a Geforce 9800 gc I was hoping maybe a new gc would give my pc the boost it needs but I'm not 100% sure

I guess no1 answered cz we r tired of the fps issues in this game! I think ur system should do great till high settings.

Have you installed updated DirectX 9 libaries? http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=8109

 

I'm using 5 years old laptop and with low settings, I have no choppiness.

Also from graphics settings change to "Full Screen (Windowed)".

Not sure where the cpu and the gpu rate compared to others, but I run an i5 2500k 3.30GHz and a GeForce 560Ti and usually have 100+fps except for when I get into 16-mans where it will drop to 20-30.
