What Cartel items are best to sell on Trade hub for in game cash.

Anything with buzz attached to it. Probably the best bang for the buck is an armor set that has been in the news or has recently been withdrawn. For example, a few months ago BW announced that the gold scalene armor set was going away. Once it really did get removed it was selling on the GTN for in excess of 5 million credits. Then what happened? BW brought it back for the Gree event. Suddenly it was readily available again and the cost on the GTN dropped to 2 million credits. Since it cost less than 2000 cartel coins, this was a pretty good deal while it lasted, especially if you saved your coins and did not have to put real world money into it.

Another example which is not as lucrative, but more of a sure thing, is hypercrates of Cartel Packs. They're expensive, more than 6,000 Cartel Coins, so you're talking real world $50.00 here. But the individual crates sell for 250-350K on the GTN. So you could get an easy 6 million credits that way. The problem is that it will probably cost you real money since Cartel Coins don't accumulate that fast.

What you really ought to do is experiment. Pick a couple of items you've heard about on the forums or in game and just see what they are going for on the GTN and how many people are selling that item. Then evaluate whether it would be a good move for you. The more research you bring to the table the better you will do.

Eradicator masks will usually go for 300-400 credit and there not that expensive. Lately i have been getting 370k for it. Also, when you buy one, you have to wait 36 hours to put on the gtn. Also, dont let people negotiate with you unless your desperate. Some one was trying to buy one from for 290k when i just sold one for $370. The price kind of depends what people are selling on gtn and you want to sell a little lower then them. Edited by LukeCoolhair

um... yeah... none of these items that have been mentioned are fast or efficient methods of gaining in game credits. In fact selling Cartel Items for in game currency is a sure fire way to make your paycheck disappear forever with little to no benefit to you other than enjoyment factor.

But, if you really want to buy items off of the Cartel Market and then sell them on the GTN in order to obtain Cartel Coins, then your best bet is to buy items from the Unlock or Consumables Category from the Cartel Market instead of buying items in the equipment or packs section of the Cartel Market. The reason that Consumables and Unlocks are better is because they are a one time use item in most cases, and are often in higher demand.

The best unlocks to get are the ones that players who are completely free to play need in order to access additional features (such as Section X, or Artifact Equipment) of the game. The best Consumables to get are probably the Character, Legacy, and Guild Renames, Dye Modules, Major Experience Boosts x5 Packs, and Major Valor Boosts. Anything else is just not worth selling. These items are both cheap and one time use items, thus are going to be higher in demand. Also unlike other experience boosts the Major Experience Boosts apply to all Experience Types and last for 3 hours, so they are worth more (at least in theory). Dye modules like the Packs are kind of a crap shot, but you can sell the unopened Dye Module for a bit of change. The Legacy, Guild, and Character Renames are probably going to be where the real money is though (but don't quote me on that).

Trying to pull packs to get a specific item is a losing proposition. It's better to buy packs, use what you want, then sell the rest for whatever price they sell for on your server. You probably won't make a ton of money this way, but at least you will actually be making money, instead of blowing hundreds of dollars trying to get the one item that you can sell for big money.

How is that even possible? And if possible what purpose would it serve? Don't you mean in-game credits? That's a typo, right?

Actually the eradicator mask has been an easy sell since it came out. It usually sells within the two days listed. The other cartel equipment i dont bother with selling because its to expensive. The consumables is a good idea but you will have to sell alot. For the experience boostsg on the gtn, they are going for 20k per 1 and there is a lot of them. Its just easier to sell the mask because right now there is only one on there and through out the day, i see maybe 4 on there. It depends on the server though.

And make sure you sell the individual packs, not the hypercrate itself. But it's easy credits for sure.

sorry that was a typo. I meant to say credits, not cartel coins XD

But in some games it is actually possible to sell items in game for in game currency and then use that in game currency to buy the Cash Shop Currency which you in turn use to buy Cash Shop Items which you later sell for even more in game currency and repeat the process all over again. Perfect World Entertainment's games tend to have this feature alot.
