hadoken
I'm thinking tomorrow or Wednesday as kind of a 'farewell for now' to the BH event, since they're named after the BH stuff.
Callaron
OP Meaningful Title Please!! Not to mention that each time a thread calls out to the devs it's usually to insult them or demand a fix for something "NAO!!!", so probably not the best choice of title indeed. Hodsy
I personaly think the new pack was ment to launch WITH the bounty hunter event. BUT! As you may recall they are adding the ingame cartel purchases which grant 50% off your first purchase. It makes sence that they would launch this feature with a new cartel pack suited to the bounty hunter week. They will either launch the next cartel pack after the current bounty hunter event finished OR when the next one begins. BOOOO!

Doesn't make any sense at all from a business perspective to release something new on the market at the same time as a 50% off coins. The new stuff would get people to pay full price on coins to obtain. Then again, that isn't to say BioWare has shown a ton of good business sense of late

You have to supply somthing to create the demand... If they released the offer for 50% off yea sure it will catch peoples attention and get a few extra hits, but release it the same time as a brand new cartel pack and it tempts people who have never bought packs to try it out since they get 50% off Perfect business plan supply the product with an offer and create demand. I for one would buy a good 2000 CC

Sales aren't made to discourage people from buying, but to encourage. The though it usually either that once they're in the store their buy other things or once they see the quality/enjoyment the get from the items they will want more. You don't do it the day of release. You do it a week or two later with no announcement of when that will happen. You didn't see them put Treek on sale at a discount as soon as she was released did you? Or ANYTHING ELSE for that matter. Apples to Oranges comparison. % off an item is like % off an item in a store, you're right you don't do that when it's new. If you do a % off anything in the store, which is the closest comparison a 50% discount on CCs can be called, then the goal is to get people in the door and you don't hide newer products, you let people get what's there, new or old.
