Emperor's Hand is well on its way on Empire side with a couple teams just getting their feet wet. Whether you're a seasoned raider or just getting started, we've got teams for you. Of course, we are always looking for leadership-oriented folks to head up new teams and further expand our pve program. Due to our healthy recruiting rate, you'll be able to fill those teams quickly. DocZoloft Posted January 12, 2014 Share Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) Had a great time last week with one of our recurring "Where's Waldo" events complete with Empire of TAW vs Republic of TAW world pvp on Tatooine. The winner got 1 million credits! Our two Field Specialists do a great job not only organizing activities during SWTOR events (ex: Gree) but creating their own during the off weeks. I also know that empire's furthers progression team (Emperor's Hand) is looking for a dedicated tank to help give their core some more consistency as they finish brontes and council and farm the conent. DocZoloft Posted February 18, 2014 Share Posted February 18, 2014 Things are bumpin' on the PvE front - both guilds have teams that are 10/10 hm df/dp, and congrats to General's Nightmare team on downing the Dreadful Entity! Not only do we have a great community, but we get stuff done, too. Looking forward to our upcoming extended campaign that begins in March and will last 3 months, with *massive* prizes at the end. Our Field Specialists are always hard at work orchestrating both small and large-scale events to fill in the gaps between content patches. We've been here since the beginning and we're gonna be here until the devs have packed up and gone home. We have plenty of volunteer leadership positions available, and because of our division of labor, one person doesn't have to do everything. That's what gives us our staying power - when real life gets rough for one of our leaders, we have a robust system in place so that the show goes on. If you're the kind of person that just wants to help out but not go crazy, we have positions for that. If you have massive leadership chops and want to be instrumental in the decision making process, we have positions for that, too. Whether it's on-the-field leadership, administrative leadership, or showing new members the ropes, there are plenty of ways to be a part of the TAW project. I just wanted to throw out an update for Imperial Fireteam B.O.B, we will be expanding our hours of operation from 8:30 to 11:30 Tuesday/Thursday! B.O.B is currently running 8Man Storymode content but if there is enough interest at raid time we can always expand to 16 and if the right team comes together the goal is to tackle the hard mode and beyond!!! We have a brand new weekend PvE team launching on Republic this week, a team bursting at the seams with people and expanding to 16man on Empire, one team of hardcore people on each faction chomping at the bit for NiM, and a handful of pvp teams on each faction that are building up comms in anticipation for 2.7. Not to mention the Guild Olympics, with millions of credits and thousands of cartel coins in prizes for the winners. Safe to say we will be situated to purchase and enjoy them from the get go, and should be yet another fun thing to bring our community together! Our pub side progression team (10/10 DF/DP since December) is looking for a DPS to add to our core preferably able to commit to our full schedule (Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 8:30-11:00 PM EST). We have done some work on PTS and will continue to do so over the next few weeks in preparation for Nim DF. If anyone is interested please email QuiGonJinnNJuice@taw.net would be preferable, although PMing here also works. We could also use people who might just want to fill in and do some PTS work with us as several core members are having agro/vacations/whatnot before NiM progression kicks off. I believe Empire's Emperor's Hand progression team (tT/R/M 8:30PM-11:00 PM) is still looking to add at least 1 more dedicated tank. Our most advanced progression teams are fully BiS and have dabbled a bit in the PTS, and other teams are making great progress and having a great time learning the content. Our PvP teams are fighting for those Season 1 rewards and farming comms to come out of the gate with competitive gear for the next tier. And on the social/casual front, we officially launched the Guild Olympics last week, a 3 month-long extended campaign for everyone to enjoy! Our most advanced Empire team has downed Nefra, and our most advanced Republic team has downed Nefra and Draxus. Also, we've completed 4 out of 12 events in the guild Olympics! Last week we had a contest to see who could kill all the NPCs in a speeder station on Corellia the fastest, and this week is the 4v4 pvp tournament! There's always a team to join for pvp and pve content, always great people online to chat with, and fun events every week to break up the monotony. Come join the family! Would like to add someone to our 2/5 NiM DF team. We run T/R/F 8:30-11:00PM EST, definitely would prefer a RDPS although would consider a tank or melee DPS potentially as we have members who are capable of flexing. If you can perform and are willing to continue to work and push yourself to improve we are a dedicated team that has run for a long time together and is putting in the work as well. Enjoy these and many other organized events as a part of TAW, in addition to consistent, scheduled pvp and pve teams for people of all skill and gear levels. If you are a leader, we'll work together to put your particular skills to use for the benefit of the community. If you're a follower, then we will take care of hooking you up with teams where you are appropriately challenged and ensuring that you are fulfilled in your gaming and guild experience. If you like to socialize, our lounge is always bumping and there are tons of people to chat with. If you're into just getting to know a small, tight-knit group of people and getting down to business, join a fireteam, grab a teamspeak subchannel, and build close friendships as you achieve your goals together as a team. I would recommend emailing Kazerith@taw.net about other teams, or if you are limited to weekends, you could also discuss being the leader of a new HM Ops group that runs on weekends.
