Campaign weapons better than Conqueror weapons

Campaign weapons with power crystals are currently outputting more damage in warzones than conqueror ones.

Here is a screenshot of a conqueror weapon (minus the mod because the partisan high power mod outputs more damage than the lower power conqueror one)

While the conqueror one doesn't have the best mod or augment, these do not make up the differences in the damage between the two pieces. Additionally the campaign piece gets further bolstered in warzones despite only losing one expertise. And with this bug still in place http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=6366091#edit6366091 you lose no pvp stats dps wise.

 

The reason the campaign is outperforming the conqueror one is the addition of the power crystal. Removing expertise crystals and reworking your formulas is imo the best way to handle this issue; however, it may not be the most practical. This issue has been discussed previously here http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=642095 In this thread there are many other suggestions regarding fixing this issue.

 

Unfortunately, I was unable to take a screenshot of myself in a warzone. This has been happening since the last patch and may very well be another bug. In the last link posted, Evuo has screenshots of the expertise differences in warzones.

 

Please look into this issue and alter bolster or the power crystals (endurance crystals for tanks..those are better too) in some way.

Now show the same pieces inside the warzone showing bolster working.

Expertise and your stats, let's see if Campaign is better.

 

I cannot take one in a warzone. But I can assure you it is better. Evuo has screenshots within a warzone of them being better in the link posted.

For some reason, EWH Mods (level 63) get less expertise from bolster than 61, so War Hero Mods > Elite War Hero Mods, lol.

I must be missing something here. Comparing two sabers (weapons) to each other without having the same level of hilts, mods etc, just does not seem right to me. What am I missing? Trying to understand what is being said but it is not making sense to me as it is being presented. I am also looking at the damage on both. The one with the 65's in it has a higher damage output then the one with the 61's. That to me only would make sense. Also, power will increase your damage on everything. So that too makes sense to me as to why that would do more damage then something with Expertise on it. So, looking at both, again I might be missing something here, it seems that the one with the expertise on it and the 65's in it, does indeed have a greater output of damage over the one with the 61's and the power crystal. That being that the 65's pull the rest of the weapon up.

 

So, what I am missing as I want to understand what is being presented to ensure that others in my guild know about this too.

In warzones, all weapons get bolstered to the same weapon damage and force/tech power

ok I see what you are looking at. The 8 points of difference on your character stat sheet. Not the weapon itself. So, does that 8 point difference really make a big difference in the game play of the warzone?

By itself it's not that huge, but combined with the offhand, and possibly the ear/implants (for Strength users the crafted implants aren't that good) it's somewhat significant. Also, there's the fact that it takes a massive time investment to get that Conqueror Main Hand compared to the 61-modded one which is practically instant and free (you can craft all the 61 mods with cheap stabilizers nobody wants anymore) and better.
