Why can't level 55's use the public group finder for 50 Operations?

The way the levels work in this game, any time there is a 5 level or more difference between opponents, the higher level target is all but immune to any damage from the lower level, because almost none of your attacks or abilities will land. Also, the way group XP scaling works, any 50s in the group would get little or no XP from a FP run with a level 55 player on board (which, considering you can just faceroll everything, makes some sense). The level 50 content was no more designed for level 55s than it was for level 45s, hence you cannot queue for it.

I believe they are asking because you can queue for the level 50 HM's but not the level 50 ops, which doesn't make much sense, imo.

You can still que for the flashpoints but not the Ops. Getting xp in Ops is relatively worthless.
