DesleDarksyde
It comes up on the forums of all MMOs. Just do it, to increase responsivenes off the game to your keystrokes. http://www.speedguide.net/articles/windows-7-vista-2008-tweaks-2574 Under the heading: "Gaming Tweak - Disable Nagle's algorithm" It's about 3/4 down the page. Here's what it does, and why disabling it helps with responsiveness to key strokes: The tweak below allows for tweaking or disabling Nagle's alogrithm. Disabling "nagling" allows for very small packets to be transferred immediately without delay. Note that disabling Nagle's algorithm is only recommended for some games, and it may have negative impact on file transfers/throughput. The dafault state (Nagling enabled) improves performance by allowing several small packets to be combined together into a single, larger packet for more efficient transmission. Please keep this bumped so that warriors with 2350 points can also find this and apply it. Edited December 21, 2011 by DesleDarksyde

DesleDarksyde
So, do we know enough about packet size in this game to say if it will be beneficial or not? Doesn't really matter. You want a packet created by the client sent immediatly to the server, regardless of it's size. Nagling prevents this from happening immediatly. Works on all online games, including SWTOR. My LAN driver actually includes an option to disable it via the driver under it's "Gaming" heading.
