Customer Service is LACKING....

So to start lets me say I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on this game. I am a preorder player as well as digital deluxe edition. COUNTLESS cartel packs, Unlocks, etc.

 

I have been trying to use 3 different credit cards as well as paypal to buy more cartel coins since buying from gamstop, you have to call them to have your account reset each and every "card" you use (it's a code they give you). I get a message that tells me to use a different card (it fails to use any payment method). I call customer service yesterday where i get the answer "you have to talk to billing level 3). ok i can do that, wait they are not OPEN at this time. I am told to call back at 11 PST. I call back at 11 and am told from a new level 1 person that "oh the other rep must have forgot about daylight savings time and I need to call back in 53 min. I wait my 53 min and call back (now it is midnigfht). I talk to the level 1 person again and get transfered. Wait an hour and a half only to get disconnected.

 

At this point i am mad and tired. I go to bed and wake up for some RL stuff (kids and teeball). I call them back and get my level 1 person yet again who transferes me to level 3. Wait an hour only to get DISCONNECTED yet again. i wait till I am done with RL stuff and call back. Level 1 yet again who transfers me to level 3. I wait TWO AND A HALF HOURS (did not get disconnected this time). The level 3 rep tells me that my account has been locked from buying anything because of some locck they have in place for "my security". I am told to wait THIRTY DAYS and try to buy coins again.

 

What I do not get is why it takes so long to get someone to tell me that and WHY this lock goes in affect in the first place. SCREW my security, I can not get my HK-51 droid on my new characters because it costs 1 million credits or 350 coins to unlock it.

 

If this is how the customer service in this game is going to be then I myself can not wait for elder scrolls or even my little pony island adventures or old school muds to come out. This is a HUGE reason why myself and many others decide to quit our subs and wait for the next thing.

I don't see how hundreds of dollars translates to countless cartel packs, must not be able to count very high, also instead PD spending all those hours on the phone you could be playing the game and getting those credits, which is less of a waste of time.

First, not sure I would EVER spend real life money on Cartel Coins....just does not seem worth it in my eyes. Second, if you are using a CC to do a sub, to save your self some hassle, do the 6 month thing, and you would only have to go through this twice a year.

 

But I would have to say the Customer Service has not been that bad to me. Every time I have had to put in a ticket, the issue WAS resolved...sure I have to wait a few days to hear back from them, but that is expected in about every MMO I have ever played.

I agree with you sub part. But to have them tell me that I am locked out of buying coins yet I can add more time to my account is a bit of a slap in the face. For a F2P game you would think they would have fixed these issues with their system.

 

The part i left out of my first post was that each time i tried to buy coins after the error ( you must use another card to make this transaction), the rep told me the lock was reset because of a "failed" attempt. Not failed on my part. Failed on theirs.

I blame Disney!!! Lol jk, not really. Green you sir must be mentally challenged or ride a short bus, your response is as unintelligible as your name. It might help if the customer service rep wasn't from Bangladesh or Singapore. I've had both good and bad experiences with customer service. But overall you are dealing with a bunch of CSR's with an underwater basket weaving degree. What more can you expect?

Bashing a guy who is pointing out failures with customer support? Really? I think those of you who claim you havnt had an issue with cs are liars, or work for EA.

Ive never had a good experience. Via calls or email.

When I played TSW there were times when less than a second (no exageration, look it up) to get a reply. From an individual who had the power to do something right then and there to fix my issue.

CS in this game sucks. Period.
