Zooball Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 Thought hit me as some players were bouncing around ideas in the chat box in-game about 1v1 and 2v2 duel rings. I could see competition brackets being set up for this feature. Similar to Group Finder, players or teams could sign up for one of the 32 starting slots, and then the first round of fights occur. 16 competitors (or teams depending on format chosen) are left, they fight, 8 are left, then 4, and so on...until you have Champions of the Ring. The rewards can be given along the way, perhaps different levels of Comms, gear, packs or schematics with better choices for the winners and consolation choices for eliminated players (teams). Quality of prizes goes higher as competitors advance in the brackets. I could imagine a title for the winner(s) and a choice of the best items in the game, ie. best PvE or PvP armor comms/tokens (enough to buy 1 piece of a set), or maybe Cartel shop credits, or even in game credits.
