Did not work for me. This situation is beyond pathetic. Played since Beta and now the game cannot keep up with current technology. SMH

I have been playing this game since launch..... I could go into every little excruciating detail about every ability and passive and whatnot, but between that and min/maxing I'd rather have my teeth drilled out while awake. Previous posts in this thread have covered the details anyways. I think another aspect needs to be addressed. One I learned years ago playing tabletop games about the balance of playability versus detail. Too much detail absolutely sucks the fun out of a game. SWTOR is rapidly feeling like a second job I hate laden with required tech manuals (handled by 3rd party websites/guides no less) rather than a game to go have fun with. Does it feel like Sorc (lightning)? No. But this has been building since many updates ago and this 7.0 preview feels "out of control" and massively not ready for testing.

I get so close but never cross that threshold. Tonight I was at 14,986 on StarParse..... I am using an Operations Training Dummy with a Standard Health Modulator (3,250,000 HP) and an Armor Reduction Module. This setup is what my guild requires and I must get past 15K DPS to qualify to run Veteran Mode Operations with them. My character is wearing the Gathering Storm Set (6/7) and an Amplified Champion Piece with an iRating of 306. All items worn have 286 Augments and I am using the Stormwatch Tactical. With my rotation I get the armor bonuses to kick in, the Stormwatch effect, Telekinetic Focal Point and Swift Rejuvination. I also know how to get the proc's for this class active. I have also used Expansive Versatile Stims and Prototype Kyrprax Attack Adrenals. There must be something I am overlooking though. Do I need 300 Augments? Are the amplifiers going to get me over the line? I have tried tweaking my rotation according to online guides and the DPS goes down. Should I not worry and wait for the next expansion? Is 15K DPS asking too much for Veteran Ops? (Concerning 300 Augments and Amplifiers I am NOT willing to spend a lot of credits this close to an expansion to solve those issues.) Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions. Mastery 12,119 Endurance 15,612 Power 8678 Critical 1916 (Chance 31.66% Multiplier 64.14%) Alacrity 2158 (11.51%) Accuracy 1750 (110.74%)

Hi I just did one of the Flashpoints via group Finder for this Weekly and I did not get credit for it. Then I noticed that when I click on the Tracking box for the other Weekly and Daily PO objectives they pop up on my screen but this one does not. If I click to track Weekly PO: Coreward Flashpoints and close the window then open it again, the click box is cleared.

Has anyone else had this issue since the 6.3 patch?
Zooball replied to Master_Neaj's topic in Bug Reports
Yes I had it happen too. -
SotE: Graul Fight auto unlocks cast/action bars on UI
Zooball replied to Sarova's topic in Bug Reports
I was wondering why that happened. Disconcerting to have an ability click and drag rather than activate. -
I get these too. I also just got one on an alt that never participated in the CQ/Invasion for that planet, and before you say the Guild did it...I am the guild with only my toons. I never invaded that planet. I collect the winnings from the previous week, and then these random CQ rewards begin to pop up on different toons for different invasion targets during the current week. I say it has to be a bug.

Heroic 2 Expel the Darkness door bug Republic unable to complete
Zooball replied to Meavwen's topic in Bug Reports
I had the door closed twice after killing the first Sith Lord. Exited the Heroic and came back in--the door remained closed. Exited and Reset the heroic--the door remained closed. Both of those times I could see the "door handles" move but the door remained "closed." Third try. Killed the first Sith Lord and exited the Heroic. Logged out to the character screen and logged back in and went back in--the door opened. -
Revan's Legacy is recruiting active players (Empire guild)

Discord link is invalid atm -
https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/trimantium-onslaught-imp/ Can be made for a lot less resources if you just want the look and not the stats. I know somebody who can make this.

I have a friend who can make the entire set. Are you Republic or Imperial side?

The most basic things I have noticed on SS playing as a TK Sage is: -when I get a team that stays as a group and protects me, we stomp the opposing team. -when I get a team full of individuals, we get farmed and I become easy kills for the other team, they see me and come after me (squishy sage) and I simply continue on for the credit of doing a match. -when the map has two objectives, the team that splits into 2 teams of four usually wins. If they dominate, they will morph into 2x6 with a tank/heal defense and the other 6 in a hunting group. -defending with anything that does not have a selection of defensive CDs is a waste of time, I have one and my team will run off thinking I can do it alone (here comes the stuns and getting ravaged by four or more enemy players). I no longer stay behind to defend bc I am more valuable elsewhere--besides it is suicide. -calling out and running (again as individuals) to where most of the opposing team is before securing the objective you are at......why? They just pick you off one by one and you did not get the objective you were at secured. -huttball, stay with your ball carrier! -marking an enemy player and not grouping to kill them....again why? -not protecting your AOE/ranged players and not killing off targets that are weak in my AOE. I cannot kill a group, but WE can if you pick them off when they are near death in my AOE. (Cancels my motivation to bring so many down in HP just to watch them heal back up bc you ran off to chase that one enemy who has great defensive skills.) I just don't get why players do not watch how the other team wins and not adopt those tactics, or remember being on a winning side and take notes on why your team won. Now I see familiar names that will cancel out on a match as soon as the slots are full--I guess their buddies are not present. I also see teams that are obviously guilds/groups that are using voice chat. They move and fight so much better, but I guess we can't have different matches for solo/no chat and pre-made/voice groups.

I understand technical difficulties can happen, but soooo frustrating when I'm in the middle of the new FP and bam--kicked out!

How can I get a Dev's attention to stop the cheating on Zakuul???
Zooball replied to PatT's topic in General Discussion
I have just watched the same 3 bots farming Yavin for a few days, and the circumstances of how they do it is described in exact detail by the previous posters--except for the ones playing Devil's advocate here and plainly not going to look for themselves. How open are these cheaters? Go look here https://www.thebuddyforum.com/threads/problems-botting-on-zakuul.240122/ Maybe this will give a starting point for EA/Bioware to eliminate this problem. Also, why can't the devs have the nodes respawn in a completely random manner, 200-300 meters away (or whatever distance that will work) from the previous location to mess up the bots? Is it an engine issue? programming? Or lack of coming up with new solutions? And, the less EA does to fix this game (or completely fail to make it worth my subscription like with Iokath expansions), the better Black Desert, FF14 and Revelation look to me. -
6:00 pm PDT.................who broke the server? Looks to be a nasty issue if it has been down this long.

So does the Iokath storyline just not have a conclusion...
Zooball replied to Nefla's topic in General Discussion
GTK My guild I raided with is gone, so now I have a "solo" guild with just my toons. My time in RL to play is also limited, so if the story moves around and beyond the OP that is fine with me. However, I thoroughly enjoy going back to earlier Flashpoints in solo mode, and would love to see all mutiplayer FP/OPs (and Uprisings, maybe?) have that option. What would make it more fun is to not have a God Droid and be able to assemble a team of companions instead. I know it pulls back toward solo RPG (KOTOR, KOTOR2), but it would be a great option and keep me subscribing. And, if a group needs help, I can always join in. -
As I'm crafting sets for my mains/alts, I was thinking how nice it would be to have a toggle to preview the items as either Imperial or Republic so I can see what they will look like for either faction. My second idea is having the option to place items in a set box which would make selling them on the GTN easier.

I agree with OP. Sucks to make one stab at a target that jumps to you when you are trying to heal. Really need that lightsaber to knock off targets that are in close (and generate some Force) while waiting for my Project and Throw to cooldown. Makes my Seer feel even squishier.

Today I had Lord Dramath with me and he died in 5 seconds taking on Arcann and Vaylin. Still won the fight but what a surprise at the start. lol
-
You can bring Valkorian's father, Dramath with you if you chose the DS choice and captured him in the earlier chapter with the holocron......but my post above indicates he might not be of much help.
-
Okay, did the fight again today with a DS Operative/Concealment. I had Dramath with me since I knew to capture him earlier....but he lasted about five seconds after I went up the stairs to fight the bosses!! Again I was alone and thought I would die. I killed Arcann first since his HP is much lower by just running around and stabbing/shooting him until he died, and avoiding his yellow cone attack. My Op could easily handle Vaylin in melee with all her knife skills and by staying at the bottom of the stairs, but I kept a close watch on her stack and used the same technique to run before she popped the red circle AoE--she never got me with that attack. I used probably three Memory of Healing ponds for myself along with self healing as I ran around, then simply kited her through about four other ponds and that did it for her. Did it this time in one go.

As a LS Shadow/Infiltration I did not have the Sith Lord as a healing companion. It took me about 6 times to do this fight. Early on I was learning the Boss' abilities, usually by flying off the platform. I learned to keep either stairs to my back or a wall if Vaylin was about to pop a red circle, but she kept stunning me and I could not get to the green circles in time. So, I took advice off this thread and this is what worked for this class: Stay at the base of the stairs with the throne behind you when fighting inside the purple circle, if not then get the wall of the stairs behind you if you are off the the side or behind them. Twice she caught me with her AoE but this placement either kept me in place or I didn't fly far enough to fall off the platform. Watch her stack, when it is at 25 or more go look for a green circle and save your stun break for this run. Sometimes I would find two green circles behind the stairs and I could either use both or save one for later. My interrupts were not doing anything to her, so I had to use this "Runaway!" tactic. Use Force Speed if she follows you because you can LOS her and take minimal damage as you jump into green circles. Also, Force Speed worked wonders if you got caught just inside the red AoE circle and this got me out in time to grab a green circle behind the stairs. Do not attack from outside the purple circle except with something like throwing your lightsaber to get her to follow you up the stairs a few steps. Hope this helps.
