Bastionhawk
I'm sure there is a topic addressing this however I couldn't see one. So we have a guild on Krayt Dragon where we've been playing for a few days. Now that it is the actual release we have people who (for whatever reason, preordered but had complications etc.) can not join the server b/c it is full? Is this temporary or are we just not supposed to play with the majority of our friends? Edited December 20, 2011 by Bastionhawk
MrSarcastic
I'm not sure but I wouldn't be surprised.
Viio
You realize it is full at the moment. They need to wait in queue and then they should be able to create their toons. Everything will settle down in a few days Edited December 20, 2011 by Viio
Bastionhawk
So they will be able to create a toon when there isn't a queue?
Spor
Or they can wait in queue and when they get on they can create a toon. You do not have to have a toon on a server to get into queue.
Scorus
So they will be able to create a toon when there isn't a queue? They aren't allowed to click on the server and get into a queue to create their first toon? BW seems to have assumed that the new players would join the new servers, so they rolled out the servers when they expected the players. Unfortunately most of them are like your friends and are joining their friends on the original servers. Scorus
Rakashan
Full just means that the server is at capacity at the time they are trying to log in. They can wait in queue like everyone else and whent hey get in will be able to create a character. It just means that until the new wears off and people play with moderation (or quit playing as their time runs out) that they'll have to wait in queues every time they get on to play with you. CeLeRiTaSs
I have the same issue. Some of my friends didn't preorder so when they get the game I'm afraid that my group of friends will be split between servers. Me and my friends that preordered are already past lvl25 and are comfortable in our server with the names we chose for our toons. I hope we can absolutely avoid having to start new characters just to play together.
lightspeed
They aren't allowed to click on the server and get into a queue to create their first toon? BW seems to have assumed that the new players would join the new servers, so they rolled out the servers when they expected the players. Unfortunately most of them are like your friends and are joining their friends on the original servers. Scorus During late beta when they announced this I said it would happen like this. No one wants to log on to an empty server they want one with people on it, well most will. Now you have jammed servers because people couldn't spread out. But SR said this wouldn't be a problem so maybe they have something planned, probably not but you never know.
Bastionhawk
Well if they can queue up and create toons that way then we can definitely work with that. The queue isn't what was upsetting but the prospect of not being on the same server at all. I appreciate the information.
