This has got to be the worst analogy I have ever seen! Children and seniors get discounts. Not because of their level but because each is on a fixed or low income. WOW! Level is training and experienece. Age doesn't fit into the equation.

I wish they would get rid of 1.2 with the exception of the performance enhancements to how the game plays. The rest is crap! Legacy - another HUGE credit sink. So once again the non-crafters have tons of creds to spend and the people who craft have to choose between crafting and legacy. Legacy is useless before you complete book 2, what a bunch of crap. Class changes - blows chunks, what balance? A few of my characters are no longer playable unless I group and then they're carrying me.

Well one issue I noticed in tatooine last night was on my trooper vanguard quest. I'm responding to the apartment complex bombing. I get in there, speak with the residents as the droids attack. 2 mouse clicks and my companion is dead another mouse click and i'm dead.....That fast. There was no lag as I could manuever and fire, MV was FAST. But those droid were faster then fast! All and all I thoroughly dislike 1.2. Seems they needed to suck the last little bit of fun out of the game....at least for me.

Crafting is broken. Has nothing to do with get rich quick. For instance. My guardian needed a 27th level useable hilt. So I brake out my expert artificer. I see I need democit silk (sorry about spelling), well that item happens to be mission only item. So I pull up my companion list and go to send out lizard boy since he is my best archealogist only to find zero missions for the silk. I had to waste 4 missions on other crap I could gather myself just to get a silk mission to pop. So I spent well over 1000 creds just to get to a 450 cred mission to get the silk I need for one hilt. THATS SCREWED UP! This crafting system desperately needs an overhaul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well from what I've seen so far the node tiers and planet tiers seem to be off. Seen it on the republic side and the imperial side For instance on the republic side. At 19th I'm on taris and I want to make a hilt a 19th can use. But the resources are rare, I find lots of the T1 resources but hardly any T2. By the time we hit taris we should be seeing ercalem and nextor crystals mostly and late taris areas should also have sacred artifacts. But 90% of what I find is all rubat and lost artifacts but hardly any lost artifacts at all. Color crystal nodes are also way too rare.

My main is republic, my secondary is republic then I have my marauder. I enjoy all of them. Now you are right in that my marauder has a better story line then any of my republic characters. But thats just cause the light/dark decisions are actually good/evil and not the stupid ones Bioware made up for the republic side.....ie...love/marriage is not a light/dark decision. That is a distinction made by the jedi council, not the jedi code or GL's idea of good/evil for the star wars universe.

I was kind of curious about this as well. I make it a point to get every presense datacron and keep my companions affection increasing. But mission after mission and zero aliens blood. I know as an arch I get a lot of the purples.

If you are going to run nothing more challenging then SW:TOR on your computer go single powerful card. There is no need for SLI and SLI isn't supported. So you would be just throwing money away. I use a single 560 TI and with settings maxed the game runs great. There is no need for SLI.

This has been going on for a very long time across many MMOs, banks and any other online website people want to phish for info on. At the simplest. Whenever you get an email and it asks you to do anything with any account just delete it. Then go to the site you would normally use to interact with said account and log in and check for email/messages through their system. If there is an actual problem you will find it there.

presence directly affects the effectiveness of your companion in crafting/combat/missions. Otherwise it has some minor affect on how NPCs deal with you

As low level blue and purple stuff doesn't sell very well I do all my low level power leveling for TH on lockboxes, at least you get some decent coin back. Overall I still lost money but not as much as just dumping it into stuff I won't use.

as a religious follower of EVGA I know for a fact SLI systems still have a tearing issue. Also a big factor on performance is your internet connection. Personally I use intel i920 OC'd 3.6 6gig of 1600 ram 560TI Win7 64 EVGA X58 classified And I crank everything I can up in the game and at 1900x1200 the game runs flawlessly. Well, OK the green light show on occasion is an issue but other then that I have no problems.

PVP? snooze crafting? Just an after tought, a bone thrown to people who like to craft but it's a pretty badly executed system. Ship? ummm...wahoo? advanced classes? OK, not bad same dungeon designs over and over.....snooze city. Running through worlds doing the exact same quests side by side with the opposite faction. Thats just wrong!

As an archeaolist I usually out level. Republic side by the time I get to the jedi temple all tier 1 stuff is grey. If you mouse over a node and its gray you know you'll get zero skill points from it. Their tiers are slightly off when it comes to planets/materials. But I think thats cause you don't get the basic stuff till coruscant/dk and recipe wise by the end of coruscant/dk I already need the T2 stuff for my current level recipes and there is very little if any available.

or you can go to coruscant or drammond kaas and get tons.

seen this happening as well. Started up a jedi knight, was going to go synthweaving and figured, why bother? I get everything I need armor-wise from drops and lightsaber stuff I get from my sage. So, I went biochem cause its actually useful where the rest fo crafting pretty much isn't. the more I play this crafting system the more I realize it really isn't that good.

I seriously doubt you were with WOW since day one. If you had been you would NOT be making the above statement. The first 6 weeks were a serious nightmare, the first week you were extremely lucky to even be able to play for extended periods. As someone whose been through 4 different MMO launches this being my 5th this has to be the smoothest I ever seen.

I'm 34th have about 20K in the bank and a handful of puple recipes. Stuff does not sell on my server for what it costs to make it. Last puple hilt I made took me 12 missions to get the pearls I needed. No one is going to pay what it cost me to make it, let alone a make a profit.

I take it your not an artificer? And you have to take into account what it took you to get that schematic. Thats basic business 101. You can't recoup the cost by selling the items that uses the other gems, they aren't good enough to compete with the other drops/rewards available. No one wants them. And no they don't recoup the cost just selling the mats because everyone is getting that garbage in excess so who would need it? Missions are way overpriced, provide putrid results and then your products are overshadowed by other rewards.
