Now you can get the new cartel crystals that have the +41 exp. stat boost,but same as before,its only good for pvp.Unless you plan on mainly pvp while lvling,i would use one of other stat boosting crystals for the extra dmg,healing it will give you in early lvling and swap out with the exp. crystal for wz. Kerensk Posted January 22, 2013 Share Posted January 22, 2013 Plus the free set of recruit gear has decent expertise, and it goes up quick as your gear does so you never have to configure for more as long as you wear PvP gear and not PvE gear (PvE is a big non-no in +50 PvP). I'm pretty sure it is beneficial to get Expertise pre-50 but, the only way to get it is the Cartel crystals. For a long time even before the cartel crystals existed, you were able to buy pvp weapons at level 40 that had expertise in them. Since that expertise was in the enhancements, you could also buy extra ones and pull those out and put them in your armor too.
