We cater to mature, no-drama gamers with a focus on fellowship, roleplay, exploration and above all, fun! SC has been highlighted by TenTonHammer (twice!), lagwar.com, and listed as guildportal's largest guild. \\\\\ What SC is ///// Mature: Most of our guild is comprised of an “older” crowd, with members in the average age range of 25-40 (and some 60+). Generally we restrict admittance to Age 18 and over, but underage recruits are evaluated on a case by case basis. We value respect and expect a level of maturity from our members. In ranks we have real-life teachers, PhDs, linguists, musicians, engineers, military officers/enlisted, fathers/mothers, and married couples, to name a few. Stable: SC was formed in November 2004 in EQ2 by Commander Bugbig and enjoys a very respected reputation in the the MMOs we explore. We are currently active in SW:TOR, Age of Conan, Guild Wars 2, Lord of the Rings Online and The Secret World. Structured: We employ clear guidelines with a code of conduct and explanations on how to be promoted, along with public postings of our Vision moving forward to help set expectations. Moderated: Shadow Company is a guild of moderation – we roleplay some, we quest some, we craft some, we raid some, however, we are not a hardcore guild in any one particular area. We are about having fun and being a no-drama guild. Real life comes first and foremost. \\\\\ What SC is not ///// “Lewt dudes” or kids – If you like saying the words “Sup”, “dude”,“Yo” or think cussing is cool, you are not a fit for SC. If you think being the best means having all “uber” gear, SC is not for you. We are not a hardcore raiding guild. We look at raiding as just one aspect of a game and one more way to enjoy content.
