Antipodes Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 I don't know the math behind it, but I would replace it with power. Most people value power over expertise if they are a 1:1 ratio. That doesn't mean PvE gear is better than PvP gear though, since I believe PvP gear has a greater number of stats (i.e. it is not 1:1). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Regardless, if you have 1100-1200 expertise already, and losing that 82 expertise won't get you lower than those, swap out for power. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Wainamoinen Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 (edited) I would still take the expertise: the decay from diminishing returns on it is pretty slow, and there is no definite cutoff value to stop stacking it at, so your individual answer depends upon how much of both you have. Without having done the calculations myself and only looked at their graphs, I suspect expertise is pretty much the god-stat for PvP for any reasonable value we can currently obtain. LuckyKnight Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 Basically just do the test. Check your stats with each set of gear and see what the tradeoff is and if you think it is worth it.
