And to know that you are courting her, just flirt with her, and as soon as she accepts "Courting" gifts from you(Gains +affection), you are golden. When she told me that it was her job to keep herself up to date, I invoked rule 449-337 of the Special Forces code that as CO I could requisition supplies for crisis situation much faster. From there I could see in her eyes that I've won her respect and heart. Joking aside, ingame a safe way is to always pick the [flirt] option whenever it's available. According to several posters, not all [flirt] are necessary for the romance, but since it's unclear which, don't take any risk unless you like to gamble.
