Docmal
Most tanks I play have several aoe damage abilities. What was the purpose of making only one of each of their abilities not hit sleeping targets? For example: Shadow: Slow Time (capstone tank ability which requires 31 spec) - does not hit sleeping enemies Force Breach is the baseline Tank AOE damage and debuff ability - it hits them Whirling Blow is the saber aoe ability and it hits I am wondering what the logic was behind this choice? Why slow time and not force breach? Why not both?
alifaraaz
One aids aoe tanking but more importantly aids multi mob tanking. There are many trash pulls where if you havnt got sorc sins or ops for CC in EC tanks need to take more than 1 each. So you're say tanking 2 mobs while a third is Cc nextto you etc. The second move is just pure aoe damage when you're doing proper aoe tanking on big groups. Gives differentiation to the moves and also means we PT can't just spam rail shot and flame sweep on every trash pull with CC s up.
