vanguard assault build and rotations

So I been tank specced during lvling. now im 50 and wanna try assault specc. im going out of ammo all the time

Could someone share some rotations for solo fights?

 

I just went full assault. maybe someone wanna share their build also?

If you don't mind, could you please post the spec you're using and the rotation. It's really hard to see where you're going wrong without knowing what you're doing wrong.

 

Only suggestion I can give you is make sure the ammo is equal to and above 8 at all times. The only times you can let it go below that is when Recharge cells is available or almost available to give you the 6 cell boost to get you back to 8 after you use that rotation. Basically, Hammer Shot more.

What ATango said. Also, HiB is your number one priority. Set the target on fire, use HiB every time it's available. It's your only form of ammo regen other than your base value. Never use Incendiary Round before the DoT is finished. In many cases (if you think that target is going to die in under 10s), you can skip Incendiary Round entirely. It's only worth the ammo cost if it ticks for most of its duration.

1) Acquire target

2) Pop adrenal/Battle Focus for offensive burst

3) Assault Plastique

4) Incendiary Round

5) High Impact Bolt

 

Space AP and HIB apart like that so they "hit" at the same time (AP has a timer) causing some big damage. While I'm doing the above, I'm closing the gap to melee range for:

 

6) Ion Pulse

7) Stockstrike

 

Situations call for different tactics, but under ideal conditions, that's my opening rotation. I'm 7/3/31 Assault.

 

7 points into Shield Specialist to get 2/3 Steely Resolve (Aim)

3 points into Tactics for 3/3 Focused Impact (HIB armor pen)
