Xanikk Posted April 4, 2012 Share Posted April 4, 2012 I only used missile blast before I got tracer missile (I'm a merc). I have never since needed to use it except on the rare occasion I was very low on heat and moving a great deal during an operation. Otherwise I don't even see the need for it to be on my bars, So my question is do powertechs use missile blast more at 50? Or is this ability almost useless for everyone? We got enough ways of knocking weak/normal enemies to the ground (or stunning), we don't need to invest in this single target, heat intensive and low damage ability. Prolyfic Posted April 4, 2012 Share Posted April 4, 2012 (edited) it does poor damage and costs a lot of heat but its still a ranged knockback against normal mobs.. so very situational, it is useful in end game pve but easily overlooked and more of a convenience than anything. knock a mob back into lightning storm or orbital strike is really the only thing I use it for. not sure if you mercs have other options to do that tho oh and as a spammable ranged interrupt for those pesky medic normal mobs in some very few encounters Edited April 4, 2012 by Prolyfic Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
