Quesadilla
Tanksins/Tankdows get healing from their force lightning/pebbles. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I do believe Juggs/Guardians can even get the 2.5k healing medal, so why doesn't Adrenaline Rush also count for it? AndyRWager
It used too. But not anymore. Also for the record, the 2.5k medal is 2.5k in ONE heal. Adrenaline rush does a lot of small heals.
sensiblepoast
Easy. Because it is mostly useless.

Adrenaline rush does a lot of small heals. I am well aware of this... I guess initially I thought it was possible to get the 75k healing if you have 20k buffed health and pop your Rakata medpack and Adrenaline Rush every 90 seconds. In Assault Specialist, assuming a crit every 1.5 seconds, it is possible, but doing the math I guess you'd still have to use Adrenaline Rush 22 times in a warzone to get that medal. It would be more than possible in an Alderaan though, because Alderaan could essentially be infinite in duration. I still think it deserves consideration. Quesadilla
Assuming a crit every 1.5 seconds, you could use Adrenaline Rush every 33 seconds. That's more than enough to get the 75k healing medal. I seriously think this deserves the consideration.
Heroe
Honestly healing yourself shouldn't count. It is a match stat to show your contributions to the team.
Sith_Cho
I agree self-heals shouldn't count but then healers' total count would be cut in half in some cases so you see the predicament there. Maura/Jugg/Sent/Watchman - While they don't get the healing medals(that I can tell) their healing counts in the stats page at the end of the match while ours do not. MuscarKrone
You have a good point, Its interesting that we are pretty much the only ones that I know of (Powertech & Vanguard) that will show 0 healing at the end of a warzone. From beta changes, to med pack changes, to shock force water... Bioware has gone out of its way to make sure Healing does not count for us. Most every other person will usually show 25-90k worth of healing, regardless of spec at the end of a warzone, just from emergency self heals. In the end, It doesn't bug me too much, lets be honest Vanguards get a toun of medals as it is. Regardless of if I actually do well or not (or I stand and defend a point most of the match) I will come out of 95% of warzones with the most medals.... Which I personally believe the entire medal system is flawed, I await the revamped system in 1.2 to see if the medals we earn better reflect effort. Sith_Cho
It's quite easy to get medals as a vanguard, there's no denying it. You can get 4 medals just guarding a node with your guard on another person helping you guard the node! The system is suppose to change in the patch where more effort in objectives will yield the most medals/valor/comm. We'll see though, death-matching is the only viable solution right now to make sure you get your 4 medals before a match ends where you know you've lost. It's quite sad, I've come back from 0-4 in huttball matches before and win when the entire team pulls together and puts an effort in controlling mid and passing forward. Heroe
Marauder's shouldn't get credit for the self heal but they are healing the group. If they use fury while in juyo every bleed tick will heal the group for 1% of health. It's something to that effect. They gotta rework the system. For the time being give vanguards/ptechs the healing from the self heal. But down the line get rid of self-healing popping up on stats.

I know quite a few sentinels who constantly get the 75k healing medal in a warzone lasting 15 minutes. I disagree that self heals shouldn't count. It doesn't count if you overheal someone, so as long as you are not at 100% health already, you are restoring your health which is normally helpful to your team. Yes, there are people who do nothing but stand in the acid in Huttballs all day healing themselves, but they are among the minority. I would understand if self heals didn't count as healing, as long as nobody's did, but currently ours is the only one that doesn't. That seems incredibly unfair to me.
