Drafted in from the past thread but me at the beginning of my game playing days, might be 1987 I think. I'm trying to dig out the very 1st picture of me sat with my legs crossed on the good old Amstrad, wasn't till many years later I actually found out what Amstrad means and still makes me chuckle now but I'll find that picture soon.

Might be year 1999, I think I was around 18, asleep sunbathing (not healthy) and big on gel with the slick look which dominated the likes of M.T.V at the time. was good times though and not a worry in the world.

Then I grew up to a certain degree.

I still love gaming and have met some true life gems throughout my experience online which I'll always keep intouch with, nanny's, war vets, current war soldiers, teachers, nurse's, you name it.

Each and everyone generally has a nice story behind their name which always made me interested in the community of a game before all other things.

Faces are just a cover and it isn't till you start to open the book of interest on people you meet, you finally understand/realise & appreciate who you are gaming alongside.

I might sound abit obnoxious but I would much rather meet people with interesting converstions who don't view themselves as much to look at than meet people who view themselves highly but have little to say.
