Mythmakr
"Note, Rank queued players will never be prompted to backfill a match. So you’ll never be placed in a match that is about to end that could cause you to suffer a negative rating adjustment. " "(leaving counts as a loss and prevents you from re-queuing for several minutes)" there will still be people that leave or get disconnected and booted from the warzone. In this case on the rankings, your team will be down 1 person and therefore giving you a big hole to fill. I know this sounds petty, but it is still something that needs to be addressed for those of us that are hardcore PvP nuts.
MatAuc
i totally agree, you can maybe let people join midwat but just not count a loss if they lose.

First, the "hardcore PvP nuts" are going to run ranked WZ in premades, so no one is going to leave the match. Second, they most likely know the issue you're bringing in but that's the point of having a pre-season : testing every thing in real game conditions. They will most likely change this for season 1 if it happens to be a problem on live during the pre-season.
Majirayan
It isn't a problem, it is just mechanics. If you let it be a Loss Forgiven because of DC or Crash, people can exploit that to never lose any rating. Yes it is unfortunate that we cannot reconnect back into the WZ, but unless they implement something like that, going to have to face the fact that if you DC, you lose. In the end the system allows you to play the way you want, with friend or alone. You don't need to do both. And it doesn't invalidate my main argument. You may need to think twice before being so pedantic.
Juey
why the hell cant they make it so we reconnect upon disconnecting like when in ops at flashpoints?
Boxer
why the hell cant they make it so we reconnect upon disconnecting like when in ops at flashpoints? I thought in Ops when you disconnect you get kicked out of the instance as well. Regardless, I think while there may be exploits that can happen via disconnecting, it'd be better overall if a disconnected person could reconnect to the same wz. Juey
thing is, it still shows you as being in the same ops group and people see the "disconnected player" icon. They could make it so that your spot still reserved for you and when you requeue you get put back right into it.

If they aren't backfilling WZs then there is absolutely no reason to not let people reconnect after they DC.
