Just use "/join <channelname>" to create the channel you want to join and that will create or join the channel, depending on if it exists or not. Hmmm... The command might be "/cjoin" I can't remember. I haven't use it in a while. There is also a way to get a list of all the chat channel commands, while you're in the game.
