lol. I may have been off on the 15 or 20, but maras do not get any dcd bonus from raging burst or focused burst. it comes from furious strike and last for 6 seconds, furious strike is on 8 second cd.

 

juggernaughts however get a 10% damage mitigation after raging burst/focused burst. it lasts for 6 seconds as well but raging burst comes off cd every 6 seconds, meaning a good jugg has 10% damage reduction up for the duration of a fight. the 10% damage reduction is the cc immunity trade off that fury maras get. on jugg the venge gets the stun immunity, so bioware gave rage jugg 10% damage reduction to theoritcaly give a tradeoff.

This game has always had an issue with stuns. And do some other mmos have stun issues yes they do, but there is a good chunk that don't. But the real issue here in swtor is it is not just stuns. It is a mix of stuns and snares. Literally every class can cc, root, and snare you. This makes engagements frustrating as snares and roots don't really effect your resolve bar in a meaningful way. Being stun locked from 100 to 0 is really easy to do in this game. But this is not a new issue, it is why alot of people left this game back in 2011 along with other things. Other games have at least tried to fix this issue with DR from stun to stun but swtor has never made any strides to even try to fix this. Instead they just gave everyone except the pt silly amounts of dcds.
