Raggok Posted March 21, 2012 Share Posted March 21, 2012 If you are building around Stockstrike from the Shield tree you can get +30% chance to crit from skills, +25 chance to crit from Battle Focus, and +15% to crit from the Combat Tech set bonus. So, with just that Stockstrike will crit 70% of the time. Add in your base chance to crit and the Scoundrel buff and you will crit nearly 100% of the time with Battle Focus up and about 75% of the time when it is not up. So, it's best to go with power and surge which you can get from Champion level Scoundrel gloves, IIRC. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
iNeXxS Posted March 23, 2012 Share Posted March 23, 2012 If you're going Assualt Spec the best gear that I've found is to go all out BM Eliminator in every slot and replace all the lvl 56 enhancements with power/surge pieces from the Scoundrel Eliminator gloves/hat and the lvl 58 Operation enhancements. This allows your High Impact Bolts to crit over 4k pretty much every time and I'm getting around 40% crit chance on HIB with the 4pc Eliminator set bonus.
