Chelict
So updated spec motherboard still up in the air for now... intel i5 2500k quad core 3.3ghz processor 2tb sata III 7200rpm hdd (already bought) 8gb (2x4gb) corsair vengeance 1600Mhz ram (already bought) nvidia gtx 560 ti what kind of psu am i going to need for all this? 550W would be sufficient, unless you plan on adding another GTX560 ti later for SLI... in that case, I would go with about 800W. Joshrbroyles
Is there any reason why I my fps drops in WZs. I feel like this computer should be sufficient to run swtor on high. Sadly the fleet lags sometimes like 30-40 when theres alot of toons on screen. WZs drop to 30s in intense fights. Phenom II 955 @ 3.8 ghz HD 6950 1GB 8gb ram ddr3 1333 600W coolermaster power supply My monitor only goes up to 1680 x 1050. I turn off shadows, and put most settings on low Any thoughts? PostalTwinkie
That the one i put up on first post? Anyone know of a good site to buy from with decent prices? I buy from Newegg, I made a few purchases from Tigerdirect over the years, but in the end Newegg has been quicker to ship and lower in price by a little. Newegg also has great customer service and I tend to get discounts from them because of how much I have purchaed and for how long.

Dayln
Hi I've never done it before but i'm looking at building my own computer for playing swtor, my current computer is quite outdated now. Current spec i was looking at is: asus p8zg8-v/gen3 motherboard intel core i7 2600 3.4GHz 8MB Cache Nvidia GTX 560 ti 2GB DDR5 Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Would this be enough? What I use is pretty darn close asus p8 i7 2600 3.4GHz 8MB Cache Nvidia GTX 570 gtx 1.2 GB DDR5 8GB DDR3 1600MHz ( it also helps that I use a 120 gig SSD as my primary drive ) I play on high settings on everything Edited March 20, 2012 by Dayln
