bananaface
This is a thread about Rage specced jugg from a pvp point of view. So on live pvp (and pve) there are already plenty of situations where you have to fill up your rotation with attacks you don't really wanna use (assault and vicious slash) cause all your other ability's are on cd. But with removing force alacrity bioware is making this even worse, 3 more seconds cd on force scream and smash is just bad. People are already complaining that Rage is to reliant on the dmg portion of the big smash crits, this change will actually make it even worse since those smashes will be even a higher percentage of our dmg. As on live you can do 1 "big" smash witih 100% dmg increase and 100% crit and 1 smaller smash with only the 100% crit in a 18sec rotation. w/o force alacrity you'll be waiting with using your smash for the big hit only, cause you can't do it twice anymore in a 18sec rotation. Waiting 4 more globals for the use of smash and 2 globals for the use of force scream, that's really an over the top nerf. So Bioware is killing our sustained dps even more while it already is really low GG. Edited March 19, 2012 by bananaface
Goretzu
Yes it's pretty bad. I'm not sure if they intended it to be this bad or if they haven't completely realised what it will do.
Kyllum
indeed... the 3 seconds may just kill rage tree just cause like u said our sustained dmg is bad enough and now they are just making it worse
kronomandar
you're forgetting one thing....the new self heal will eat the rage you need for your smashes before you ever get a chance to use it. one smash in an 18 second rotation? good luck trying to get it off that often. Just a big laugh at the insanity of this statement. You guys realize that this talent doesnt affect Smash Charge Disruption Obliterate Vicious Throw Does Choke Crush Push Scream Ravage (who cares) And one of those is getting it back, and maybe another one will too. Anyways the insanity going on in this subforum has been just off the walls.
Greeve
WrOng about smash. Force alacrity does indeed effect it's cool down in balanced form. It makes it 9 secs. The true injustice is that they took our smash and gave it marauders. They are the new us if these changes go live.
BaronBS
/signed My hybrid Obliterate/Impale spec depends a great deal on getting the CD reduction from both trees for a 6 sec scream. I love this spec and don't wanna have to change.
Kyllum
giving marauders decimate is very stupid considering they are already better then us atm.... now there is 100% no point of even having a juggernaut when the marauder is much much better now

Schwarzwald
Its not a huge nerf, its only reallocating the damage from Rage and making it less of a one trick pony. Stop crying and see that there is potentially the same DPS as before, its just coming from a different, more mitigatable source. BH's are getting the nerf stick too, so it isn't like these nerfs are going to be reciprocated. Besides, 3 seconds shouldn't make too much a difference if you play the build and manage your rage properly, i'm looking forward to a playstyle that isn't reliant on one spam rotation. Besides, 3 seconds shouldn't make too much a difference if you play the build and manage your rage properly, i'm looking forward to a playstyle that isn't reliant on one spam rotation. despite the QQ from random baddies, rage aint a 1 trick pony. we do plenty of dmg with obliterate and force scream but there just is some time in between cd's that you dont really do much dmg (giving it the burst based playstyle). removing force alacrity (increasing the cd on force scream and smash) makes this even worse. 3seconds doing significantly less dmg means the difference between bursting a healer down or not. it aint about sustainted dps in pvp, it's about doing enough pressure on a healer, protecting yours and controlling the field. if sustained dps was so important in pvp, i would've been vengeance. a rotation where you have to wait for cd's on ability's aint spammable. controlling rage as rage aint an issue at all. rage is also mainly focused on force attacks so thats what you gear for, meaning you dont want that much acc. so by making us use a melee attack more often, will make us need to drop a good stat for some acc wich is another nerf. that BH's are getting nerfed doesn't mean a jugg should be nerfed aswell (while we already are the weakest of all ac's). so yur looking forward to a gimped playstyle that you yourself clearly don't play, else you would've known this. Dont feel the QQ strong in this post like 99% of other jug nabs. deal with it, it's not a nerf. PS. Np @ the free bump's, your thread wont resolve anything.
