ENIGMASOLVED Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 So I am fairly new to lvl 50 and I am PVPing quite a bit and I do not want to give up my STORM skill. My question is what, in your opinion, is the best PVP spec that includes STORM. I am running IronFist right now and I do enjoy it. I did not know if switching to Parakeet or even going 31 points in shield would work well. I know since the DOT change, some skills have lost their edge. ceelaniri Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 the only edge that DOT abilities lost is their ability to disrupt capping people. Otherwise they still do the same amount of damage and keep pressure on people. If you want to keep storm, your choice of spec is pretty limited. origional Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 31 in shield spec is no good for pvp. You'll experience little if any extra survivability and you'll lose damage. Putting your extra points in to assault may up your damage but its ammo hungry and you are also a bit squishier. Personally I think the 'parakeet' build is horrible. I find I have much more to do, more often, then Ironfist. Who knows, maybe in a week I'll go back to Ironfist. It served me well from day 1. But horrible? Eh...we could do much worse.
