SgtGiggles Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Hey guys im just wondering cuz im joining the republic side with a friend. so im wondering what is better for dps Sage or Vangaurd. I'm sure this goes alot on opinion but im just not sure what class i want to play. I like vangaurd cuz its kinda ranged but its also not and i think Sage has more range which is what im kinda looking for. I have looked up vids on them but i cant really tell. TheTwoFourThree Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Sages can DPS as long as they're standing if build correctly while Vanguards can front load a lot of damage but have a hard time maintaining a high level of DPS due to their resouces. This is my experience. The most popular builds for those two classes are Sage Hybrid (yeah I know it's for the sorcerer but there's not a good sage write up at the moment) and the Vanguard "Iron Fist". Hope this helps.
