melodylane Posted March 5, 2012 Share Posted March 5, 2012 I've been playing for a couple days now and I noticed my server is kinda dead. I dont know if just cause Im still on my origin planet or what but it's really hard trying to get groups together. You could also do a /who 50 If its really dead you should re-roll ASAP. The benefits of playing on an active server will outweigh anything including time lost on old server. Rough guide to server populations : http://dulfy.net/2012/03/01/numerical-swtor-population-data-for-pvprp-pvp-servers/ If residing in AUS / NZ / SG or HK transfers apparently are coming in April / May to the 3 new Asia_Pacific servers. Sunblade Posted March 5, 2012 Share Posted March 5, 2012 I waited long before I rerolled, because I had so many alts and high levels. I didnt want to abandon it. But then I did. Followed the server status for almost a week, and found one server which consistently had high population at the time I mostly play. I haven't regretted it for one second. Its always people running FP's and heroics groups. If your server is low pop. Reroll immediately, It is immensly more fun Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
wadetho Posted March 5, 2012 Share Posted March 5, 2012 (edited) along with the site that was posted above for server population trends, here are a couple more http://www.torstatus.net/ http://www.humdi.net/swtor/?zone=us and as mentioned previously, make a new char, on a new HIGH pop server, and you will notice the difference almost immediatly, how much more chatter (good and bad) there is in the world, how much easier it is to get a group and do those flashpoints/heroics.
