Heck on most servers you cant even get a group together to do a flashpoint and we are talking wz premades,Really? Ranked WZ's with the state of pvp in this game, will as the OP stated, ruin pvp in this game. You need a very active pvp community which swtor does not have atm due to severe performance issuses since launch. Don't get me wrong, I think ranked warzones could be fun. I just happen to know it's something I would rarely do or perhaps not at all, since vent, guilds, and premades don't fit with how I enjoy my MMO time. What will suck is if ranked players can take their ranked warzone gear and come stomp the solo queue players in it in the regular warzones. That would just be moronic. Otherwise, I'm all for ranked warzones for premades (although cross server really should be in first). Let them have their fun, just don't let them ruin mine! It's an absolute certainty that people with gear from Ranked WZs will wear their better gear in unranked WZs and stomp the crap out of people. Everyone has thrown a co-worker under the bus to get ahead, at the end of the day; we hope to have bettered ourselves first and foremost. Weaker men band together to take down stronger men, then they too turn inward and are out for themselves. The best PvP’ers solo queue all day, every day, it is faster action, and more of a challenge for them. I have guildies begging me to queue with them so they get wins, I do this for a little while, but then I am back to bettering myself. Ranked warzones need to be solo queue, and I think it should be only solo queue. You will lose what is left of your pvp base if you make it pre-made only. Pre-mades are all carebears who can’t do jack by themselves, so they get 3 other carebears to give them a shot. If you fail to head my words, you will look back on this day 6 months from now and say, dang, this was the start of the decline. PvP is king, and it needs to be fast, and solo based at its core. Man is Narcissistic to the core, and even worse in your best pvp’ers. Premade only for better gear would be not a good idea, especially when a full premade group of 8 players organized with headsets and with the class types they like to have in their group, fighting a group of pugs...Everyone should have a chance to advance with the same gear and not only hardcore pvper, this would make the game in pvp unbalanced. Ranking is fine, since everyone can reach the needed rank for the gear, but if some are forced into premades to compete with gear.....well I dont think this is a good idea. Like someone wrote, premades are fun and you can really enjoy higher quality pvp but dont destroy the fun of regular players. This would be actually a bad idea and I see already some players quitting the game. There are always players out there who are not in a guild, not into competitive pvp and just like pug pvp.
