I write this thread because i have just learn about the legacy system a few days ago (sorry i am not the most interested in watching all the updates) The legacy system will let me change my surname. The problem and point of this thread is, that i have already written in my surname in my first name in swtor, and it looks kinda ugly. My name in SWTOR is Xandertarkona And it was supposed to be Xander Tarkona (Tarkona being surname) But since we cant use this _ in names i just wrote XanderTarkona as my name. Unfortanly it changed it to Xandertarkona. Now i was thinking, and i hope i can get confirmation on this. When the legacy system is introduced will it be possible for us to have a name change? Arianbech Posted December 16, 2011 Share Posted December 16, 2011 Unlikely. From what I've read of the legacy system you get one surname for all your toons on that server regardless of faction. You do get a choice of displaying it as a surname of 'of X legacy' or hiding it but there's been no suggestion of name changes. Might be an idea to reroll before you invest too much time in that char.
