  1. It may be a bug. I completed the chapter a while back. The title didn't appear even though the NPC's were addressing me as Captain. I put in a CS query and and about an hour later it appeared in the drop down list. Though the reply that arrived 24 hours later was so generic I'm still not sure if the CS query actually fixed the problem or it was just a co-incidence
  2. I lost Elara but Aric is my XO (and romantic interest). So its not XO or romantic interest that's used
  3. Unlikely. From what I've read of the legacy system you get one surname for all your toons on that server regardless of faction. You do get a choice of displaying it as a surname of 'of X legacy' or hiding it but there's been no suggestion of name changes. Might be an idea to reroll before you invest too much time in that char. Though there's no guarantee the surname you want will be available when they get legacy up and running
  4. Todays seventh wave seems to have got to the 4th of Dec. There's another one coming according to the Twitter feed (no time given) Looking at the planned maintenance for tomorrow the servers will be up before the time they have started invites on the 13th, 14th,15th so no added delay if you don't get in today just wall climbing with all the other people who can't play because the servers are down . All above from reading forums and twitter (well its not as if I'm in the game yet ) hope that helps some
  5. Your forum avatar says you joined Dec 2011. Don't you create the account when you redeem your code?
  6. Probably because they want to play with friends & guildmates already on the original servers.
  7. It's not uncommon. How much weirdness depends on how you play the character and how upfront you are about being a male behind the toon. Some people have been known to feel somehow cheated when they assumed someone rping a gender is that gender in real life. In my experience thought that's the minority
  8. Thanks for that, not in game yet but nice to know when I do get there
  9. There aren't any 'Brit' servers as such just English language EU ones. Not seen anything about them congregating on one particular server either, but I haven't been looking too hard.

  11. General Chat & Trade are usually OOC. Say and yell are IC Whisper, party and Guild up the the people in those channels. Some guilds have Guild chat as IC others as OOC there's no all encompassing rule. Usually depends on how into RP that guild is and if the lore makes long distance comms sensible.
  12. It worries me that you know what babies blood tastes like;)
