Yazule Posted February 21, 2012 Share Posted February 21, 2012 so with the surge changes I have decided I am shooting for 70% surge when before i was shooting for more like 80% was wondering what other people have decided is "not fail" surge rating now. Azkit Posted February 21, 2012 Share Posted February 21, 2012 Not sure if you're talking about a healer or a DPS perspective but... the only useful enhancement as healer seems to crit/surge. I gain enough alacrity from the gear that does not have swappable mod slots and accuracy is 100% pointless. I believe 75% is a reasonable goal, but you'll get higher than that. BlownSi Posted February 22, 2012 Share Posted February 22, 2012 (edited) 35% crit/70% surge seems to be the consensus for the minimum you want to hit before moving on to other stats after the surge change. I personally have settled in at around 75% and have already started adding in some power. Of course most of the Tionese and Columi gear is mostly Power/Alacrity, so I will probably drop down to right around 70% surge, but the added power will off set the loss really. The alacrity on the gear will also allow me to take points out of the alacrity talents and put elsewhere for better utility. You just have to work and find a balance that works best for you.
