If I lay it down and it hits 3 people do I need to keep channeling it, if those are the only three people around? Is the channeling just to keep the area effect up, in case, someone else walks into it or to supply all your intended targets with a few moments to walk into it?Does the full damage require that they are in the area effect the entire channel time?What if people pass thru the area effect and are only in the area for a split second? Rahiel Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 It deals damage over time to anyone in the target area, but no more than 3 targets at a time. The area seems to be larger than the reticle would indicate. So, to answer your questions, in order: yes, no, yes, they will take any ticks of damage that occur while they're in the area.
