HileyQuiggley Posted February 18, 2012 Share Posted February 18, 2012 Eliminator by far. Tech is for Vang's mainly. Eliminator helps your HIB with 4 pieces. Later on when you start getting champ gear you can get the CM gloves and strip out the Crit mods. Since Eliminator has alot of accuracy and crap. Save up, it gets expensive. Darthsuke Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 quick stats comparison between Tech/Elim head body legs boots hands Tech: Eliminator: 435 aim 435 aim 460 end 475 end 230 exp 230 exp 88 crit 175 pwr 144 acc 96 surge 96 surge 144 acc 97 pwr summary: tech gets 88crit,and elimantor gets 15 end + 78 more power. could shuffle mods, but basically boils down to 15% stockstrike vs 15% HiB. personally i like the look of the battlemaster tech gear red/black. also curious about the 2 set bonus on columni 15% grav round. Delaoron Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 I personally wear 1 piece of rakata and columi in addition to 3 pvp set pieces (champion atm, later battlemaster). 15 % crit Grav Round > 15 % crit HIB for Gunnery. Though I still wear Champion Eliminator, the lower cd on Concussion Charge can be quite nice in Huttball matches or when defending a bridge in Voidstar. Though with the change of the commendation system you can easily swap mods around, so the stats aren't rly that important, more the set bonuses.
